Article : A blue whale washed up on the Taranaki coast last week

Last week news was very shocking. A baby blue whale was found washed up on Tapuae beach near Okurukuru. It extended up to 20 to 25 meters. A department of conversation finds out and says' While its uncommon, its not unusual for an whale to wash up on coastlines.

In the past five years, five whales have been washed up dead on the seashore, On west coast of the North Island. It was so confusing that they called some experts from Massey University to do a post-mortem. Their local commercial fisherman and ship may have seen a dead whale floating stright toTaranaki since yesterday

What a great choice to write a report about - a really interesting topic and I really enjoyed seeing the photograph that went with it, you really wrote well but I enjoyed seeing the photograph because it put everything into context.
The other thing is that I live in Taranaki and I didn't realise that it was happening and had happened in our area. Its made me want to do more research.
